BARNEY & WORTH SERVICES FOR THIS PROJECT

OUR CLIENT:

City of Salem

OUR WORK:

Franzen Reservoir is the City of Salem's most important reservoir. To make vital improvements, the city needed to shut down the 100 million gallon reservoir for two summers. This required all customers to dramatically curb their water usage.

To get the community onboard with water conservation needs, the City engaged Barney&Worth to develop a communications strategy to cover every water customer, from“top ten” industrial users to individual homeowners. This included an innovative “One Inch Per Week” lawn watering campaign, which distributed thousands of watering gauges and resulted in vital water conservation during construction at Franzen.
